Flash Sales

I hate shopping in public. With a passion. The idea of walking around, waiting in line for 30 minutes, dealing with crying babies, etc. sounds absolutely horrible to me. I do probably 95% of my shopping online.

When it comes to clothing, there are two sites I use more than any other.

Plndr.com

and

Jackthreads.com

Both of these sites are "Invite Only". I have that in quotation marks because you don't really need to be invited to join, but it sounds cool.

These sites have short, unannounced sales of many brands from Crooks and Castles to Michael Kors. I am more of a thrifty shopper, so these sites appeal to me. I think many companies can learn a thing or two from these websites. They offer discounts of up to 90% on many premium brand names. For example, I saw a Michael Kors jacket on Jackthreads the other day that is retail $350. It was being sold for $60.

The catch is you don't really know when sales are going to drop, so you have to check the sites often, but I think it's worth it. These "flash" sales are a great idea, companies can unload deadstock on the cheap to consumers who are a little more money conscious.

There are also benefits to current members (like myself). I can share my link to either site, and if my referral generates a sale, I get a $10 credit to whichever site was purchased from. Obviously I will close with my two share links, and if you would like to join either of these sites, feel free to use my referral!

Peace Be With You

Over the course of the year I have been consuming copious amounts of Peace Tea. Me and my roommates actually. Anyways, I got to wondering why I choose Peace Tea over other drinks like Arizona, Monster, Mountain Dew, etc.

Maybe the reason is I'm a broke college student and Peace Teas are only 99 cents.
Maybe it's the art on the can.
Maybe it's because I'm kind of a hipster and all the other drinks are too mainstream.
Maybe it's because BILL F****** MURRAY
Maybe it's the fact that Razzleberry Tea is absolutely delicious, and I would go so far as to call it a flavorgasm.

It doesn't really matter, because I'm going to keep buying these things until we as a society achieve world peace, and that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

PS. I take all my own pictures unless I say otherwise, so if you want to take a picture from my blog, feel free to comment or email me! Also, here is a link to my Streamzoo account http://streamzoo.com/user/stoopkid/
